Our Presbyterian Pie Ministry

Nothing compares to home made pie with ice cream as a special treat. Our pie ministry has grown from an old tradition into a major fund raiser. It began over 30 years ago when women baked and sold pie by the slice at the Scandinavian Festival. Participation in this annual event has evolved, so to speak, into Pie and Ice Cream at three local events. We began making waffle cones about 1998 and blended to two products: pie and ice cream for our booths at the Scandinavian Festival, the Seafood Festival and County Fair. It is exhausting, but rewarding work serving our community with delicious treats. Our labor creates fellowship within our church family while we strive to model Christian love to members of and visitors to our community.
