Facilities Use Agreement
The First Presbyterian Church of Astoria, Oregon, offers its facilities to outside groups for meetings or events compatible to our church mission. Usage requests will be evaluated by the church facilities use committee. The evaluation will determine if the request meets church guidelines and what fees are appropriate.
Request are reviewed on a first-come-first-serve basis so please allow adequate time for your request to be handled prior to the date desired for the facility use.
Special Considerations: Church members(s) who request facility use for their personal events such as weddings, birthday or anniversary receptions are exempt from usage fees and application fee. However, a charge for custodial and utility service may be assessed.
Other requests for facility use by either church members or non-members will be reviewed on a per-event basis to determine appropriate fees. Fees for charitable organizations or events are negotiable.
This properly completed use agreement must be submitted to the church office (automatic if submitted on website)
along with the reservation fee of $100.00. If approved, this fee will be applied to the facility usage fee. If the request is not approved, the fee will be returned. The fee may be mailed to the church office - see address above.
A $75 deposit is required, but will be returned if facilities do not require more than minimal cleanup after the event.
Please submit this request form as soon as possible to ensure availability.
Proof of certificate of liability insurance may be required.

Therefore, the Responsible Person(s) agrees to the following stipulations: Our church policy requires that our custodian collapse and put away all church chairs and tables in the Fellowship Hall, unless this service is provided by a professional catering service. Intermittent set-up and clean-up are the responsibility of those using the facilities for an event. An application fee of $100 is required to secure the building availability. Prices are subject to change at the discretion of the Session.
